HOW TO FIX A COMPUTER MOUSE THAT’S TURNING ON AND OFF (SOLVED)

HOW TO FIX A COMPUTER MOUSE THAT’S TURNING ON AND OFF (SOLVED) - Computer/PC optical mouse can be a pain if they are not working properly, some of the operations on your PC cannot be performed without a mouse like using editing software’s e.g. Adobe Photoshop, a PC mouse can help you to speed up your actions you want to perform on your PC and easily navigate to your files and folders. In this post I have come up with a solution to fix your optical mouse, if your mouse is turning is self on and off when you shake is cable then this post is for you, this problem of a mouse turning on and off can be caused by the cable the mouse uses to send actions especially on USB mouse this mostly occur often so follow these easy instructions to fix your computer mouse.

Step one
Make sure that the problem is the cable not the inside of your mouse because if it’s the inside of the mouse, the problem might be the laser because of its optical ways, if the cable is fine and you think it’s the inside, open it wisely and carefully with a screwdriver and removing the dust that is in it and clean it with a cloth dipped in a spirit carefully because the laser is sensitive. And try to plug it back to your PC and see it is Working.

If the problem is with the cable perform visual inspection on the cable and if you see problems like wires are un-attached then try to attach them together, if you can’t see the problem, now visualize which area of the cable that turns the mouse On when you pull or pinch the cable and when you have spotted the area, take a scissor and cut see the cable see the screen shoot below:

Step two
After cutting the wires start to reveal the copper wires by ring off the plastic core of the wires to reveal the copper wires, after that combine them one by one according to their colors of the cables meaning red to red, blue to blue not red to blue or yellow to red.

 Step three
When done combing the cables in order then first test the mouse before you start applying the tape to the combined areas of the cable and validate that the cable are too far apart and they are not sticking from each other from where you joined them. If the mouse turns on and is working properly then start to solder the wires with the tape and plug and play.
From my experience I have realised that most often the problem of a mouse not working can occur on the tip end of the mouse or were it starts the cable, then if this is the case open your mouse with a crew drive and follow this screen shot to solve the problem:

 Step four

When done plug your mouse and test if its working properly so if not you can comment me and explain the problem or you can go and buy a new optical mouse at your nearest PC store.
